Villa Kalpavriksha

"magnifique maison au calme avec un accueil des plus chaleureux je recommande"

"Our Stay at Villa Kalpavriksha was very peaceful and restorative. My family and I loved the home and the quiet location. We felt right at home and loved being on the jungle's edge. Mr Putu and his staff were very gracious in their attentiveness and were always willing and available to assist if needed. We loved the pool and surrounding gardens. I highly recommend this Villa."

"The Villa is great, It away from the hustle of Ubud. The Villa was clean and the Breakfast were great. The kids loved the Pool and the photos do justice to the pool. We had an amazing time. Putu and his team were great and responded so quickly."

"This is the best house in Bali! We fell in love with it!"

"Putu’s place meets all my expectation and went more farther ..If you’re looking for a stylish villa that’s conveniently located ,surrounding by Rise fields , this is your place! I had a wonderful stay, very secure and quiet place. Located minutes away from MAYA hotel and resort. Managers were very helpful with ideas and tips for things to do. where to go for Dinar. Ever things you see in pictures is correct and even more . defiantly,, I recommend this villa for my friends......."

"Putu has taken care of all our belongings and everything was perfect organized! Every wish he took care of. Thanks a lot!"

"Unique villa! Nice staff and helpfull host ? really enjoyed our stay!"

"Villa Kalpavriksha is just like on the pictures : large, beautiful, minimalistic, contemporary. The swimming pool is great, set in a nice garden. Location is good, about 15 minutes from Ubud town center by car. I very much enjoyed walking in the nearby rice fields. Local people are friendly, and you don’t meet any tourist at all. Putu and his cousin Gede do a great job taking guest to Ubud (150K return) from/to the airport (350K on way) and to nearby resorts (400K). Communication is a bit confusing. Putu is supposed to be the host but we got messages from Owie, not really understanding who she is. She does not communicate with Putu which makes things complicated. It would be much more simple if Putu was the only contact. I know it is mentioned in the description of the property but I was appalled to get a bill at the end of the stay for coffee capsules. They were charged more than twice the price in a Nespresso shop. At 236€ a night, it seems pretty stingy not to include coffee. Although the staff is the house is lovely and always has a big smile on their face, they do not speak English. Before booking Villa Kalpavriksha you should be aware you are booking a villa not a 5* hotel. We are currently staying at Amarterra in Nusa Dua. For roughly the same price, one gets a beautiful villa together with top notch service. It does make a difference."

"Absolutely loved the villa, the staff and Putu who was amazing at communication and always responded to our needs. Highly recommend this place. Was hard for us to leave.."

"Villa Kalpavriksha is a fantastic property with lots of space to help you unwind from city life. The highlight of the villa is the master bathroom view that overlooks the padi field! Do note that as of Dec 2018, GOJEK and gofood does not service the villa area, thus it is best to rent a bike. Cars are not advisable as the small roads that lead to the villa is REALLY TIGHT, and the slopes are challenging. The house keepers are very friendly and helpful too! Otherwise, this villa is the place to stay!"
